For 2008, we've joined a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) from Porter Farms located in Elba, NY. I encourage you to consider eating locally grown produce on a consistent basis.  You know exactly where it comes from, who grows it, who handles it, and most importantly you help out your local farmers.  See the Writings page for some of the ways we've been using our weekly vegetable supply. 
I'm on the lookout for a beef CSA once I get a freezer to handle the meat.  Any suggestions will be appreciated!


Not just for those with small kitchens, but for all that have a desire to put the best food on their table. Whether eating alone, with family, or entertaining, I hope you find this website useful.

It's about making the most out of what you have...from kitchen spaces to kitchen utensils, from store bought ingredients to those that you can easily grow at home, with a bit of foraging thrown in. You don't have to be a professional. Just passionate with a dash of creativity.
